Obituary of Linda Ruth Storgaard

Linda R. Storgaard, 73, of Hudson, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, while under the care of Gulfside Hospice due to complications from pneumonia. Linda was born on August 28, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Russell Raymond and Ruth Mae (Smith) Brown. She was a retired banker and long time Florida government employee who served at the Pasco County Tax Collector’s office until her retirement. While she was still living in Michigan, she enjoyed roller skating and met her husband, Niel, at the skating rink. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage, adding much love and laughter to each other’s days. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, near and far. Being an aunt was one of her favorite roles, as she spent many of her days caring for all of her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her precious brother, David L. Brown. She is survived by her loving husband, Niel Storgaard. She was the cherished aunt of Kimberly Brown, David (Adriana) Brown, Ashley (Greg) Jumps, and Corbin (Alondra) Brown. Adored great aunt of Amanda (Josh) Reed, Jeramee Kallis, Nicole Prentice, Andrew Brown, Vanessa Hernandez, Penelope Jumps, Jett Jumps, Weylyn Brown, and Junavys Brown. Beloved great great aunt of Kariana Prentice, Karlee Kallis, Dax Kallis, and Isaac Reed. Linda was looking forward to her entrance into heaven so that she could be greeted by her parents and her brother upon her arrival. Visitation will be on Monday, May 9th from 08:00 AM to 09:00 AM. Her services will be from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM the same day. Internment will take place later that day at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
