Obituary of Olga H Garcia

On Sunday July 18th, 2021 Olga H. Garcia, beloved wife, mother of 3 and grandmother of 9 passed away at the age of 76. Olga was born on May 18th, 1945, in Aguada, Puerto Rico to Pedro Hernandez and Felicita Feliu. She married Jose A. Garcia on July 26th, 1969. Together they raised 3 sons, Joe, Elving and Noel. Above all else, she was a woman defined by love. She had an immensely strong love for her family and for others. She had a strong faith in the Lord and raised her family to abide in Him as well. Olga was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed using these skills to give to others. She was extremely passionate about her gardening and could make anything grow. Olga had a special gift of brightening any room she was in; no one left without feeling her contagious joy. She found happiness in simple pleasures and was grateful for every moment she spent with her loved ones. Olga was preceded in death by her father Pedro, her mother Felicita and her brother Pedro (Tito.) She is survived by her husband Jose, son Joe and his wife Jennifer, son Elving and his wife Tammy, and son Noel and his wife Juli. Also, her 9 grandchildren Kiera, Kacie, Andrew, Zachary, Joshua, Jason, Ashley, Lanyla, and Chancelor. A viewing will be held Saturday, July 24th, 2021, at 12 o’clock p.m., followed by a funeral at 1, at Idlewild Baptist Church in Hall 1.
