Obituary of Dominick Eli Tolipani

Dominick died peacefully at 90 years old, at his home in Port Richey, Florida on Saturday, April 17, 2021 with family at his side. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; sister, Chickie Konkowski (John), Ronkonkoma, NY; daughter, Diane Baum (Andy), New Hope, PA; son, Steven (Joane), Valley Stream, NY; stepchildren, Dawn Wild, Tarpon Springs, FL and Dennis Wild, Floral Park, NY; four grandchildren, Joseph, Gina, Teresa and Jake and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dominick served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was an active member of the VFW, the American Legion and the Italian American War Veterans. He retired as a bricklayer from the New York City Housing Authority in 1995 and moved to Florida in 2000. He enjoyed traveling, cruises, and cooking Italian specialties. Dominick was very proud of his garden, especially his homegrown tomatoes. He was a generous man who always helped neighbors and friends with various projects. Dominick was a happy go lucky guy who always enjoyed a good laugh. He will be missed greatly by family and friends. Visitation will be held at Prevatt Funeral Home, located at 7709 State Road 52 , Hudson, FL 34667 on Wednesday 4/21/2021 from 1000-1130 with a Funeral Service at 1130 AM. He will be laid to final rest at Florida National Cemetery later that day at 2PM.
