Andrew Kowalewski, beloved husband of 56 years to Kazimiera J. Kowalewski, passed away on March 24,2021 Proud father of three children, Edward Kowalewski, Linda Santiago nee (Kowalewski) and Andrew Kowalewski Jr. Father in-law to Dorothy Kowalewski and Christine Kowalewski. Loving Grandfather to Natasha Santiago, Joshua Santiago, Matthew Kowalewski, Madison Kowalewski and Natalie Kowalewski. Loving Great Grandfather to Jaden Harris. Andrew Kowalewski was born July 31,1940 in Lomza, Poland. He was raised solely by his cherished mother, Natalia Kowalewski, during WW2. Andrew, along with his mother Natalia, were reunited in 1958 after WW2 with father and husband Piotr Kowalewski. Andrew, along with his parents, became proud American citizens and started a new life in Cleveland, Ohio. Andrew met his beautiful loving wife Kazimiera and married on November 14, 1964. Andrew and Kazimiera created a lifetime of memories with family and friends, fulfilling their lifetime dream together. As a family they enjoyed camping, fishing and shared Andrew's hobby of pigeons. Being a kind and dependable husband and father was of utmost importance and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family. Andrew will always be remembered for being kind, generous and helping others. He loved telling jokes and was known for laughing hysterically at them before he could even finish. At this time, there will no services at the Funeral Home. Speak of me as you have always done. Remember the good times, laughter, and fun. Share the happy memories we've made. Do not let them wither or fade. I'll be with you in the summer's sun And when the winter's chill has come. I'll be the voice that whispers in the breeze. I'm peaceful now, put your mind at ease. I've rested my eyes and gone to sleep, But memories we've shared are yours to keep. Sometimes our final days may be a test, But remember me when I was at my best. Although things may not be the same, Don't be afraid to use my name. Let your sorrow last for just a while. Comfort each other and try to smile. I've lived a life filled with joy and fun. Live on now, make me proud of what you'll become.
