Obituary of Cecelia R Walsh

Cecelia R. “Cee” Walsh, 88, native of Syracuse, NY and long-time resident of Bayonet Point, FL, passed away on January 22, 2021. She was a graduate of St. Anthony’s High School. After raising her family and retiring from New York Telephone-NYNEX with over 30 years of service, she moved to Florida to enjoy her golden years and new adventures. She served as Board President at her residential community, was actively involved in charity and volunteer work, and was a dedicated member of her church. She is survived by her sons Thomas Walsh and Timothy Walsh; daughter Elizabeth Steele; grandchildren Rebecca, Adrian and Abigail; brother Michael Rhode (Antoinette); sisters Marilynn Lane (Richard), Sr. Maura Rhode, Joan Capen (Carl), and Kathleen Lim (Alex), and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents George and Cecelia Rhode and brother, George Rhode Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date in Syracuse, NY.
