Obituary of Kenneth John Malecki

Kenneth John Malecki “Kenny” age 71 of Hudson FL passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2021 at home. There will be a Celebration of Life Tues February 2nd, from 2-5pm at Prevatt Funeral Home in Hudson FL. Kenny was born on June 4, 1949 to John and Bernice Malecki in Detroit MI. After graduating from Notre Dame Highschool in 1967, he went on to study accounting at Western Michigan University. After graduation Kenny worked for Spartan Stores as an accountant. In 1973 he married and had two daughters. He moved to Florida in the late 1980s, working as a Controller at Agmart in Plant City for many years and a Certified Financial Planner. Kenny was a sports enthusiast. He loved the Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings and was passionate about golf. Kenny is survived by his mother Bernice Malecki of Hudson FL, his daughters Kyle (CJ) Vandenberge of Grand Rapids MI, and Trisha (Josh) Treat of Grand Haven MI, his sister Debbie (John) Colombo of Detroit MI, sister in law Diane Malecki of Spring Hill FL, his five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father John Malecki and two brothers Gary Malecki and Dean Malecki.
