Dear Klaudia
We are all so sorry for the loss of your dad. He was a quiet and kind man. Even though we didn’t see much of him since you all moved, he was always thought of and remembered. You’ve had so much...too much to deal with in such a short time. May God give you the strength and guidance you need to get through all of this. My saving grace through this all is knowing your dad is in a peaceful place along with your mom who we miss so so much! God Bless them and you as well Love Theresa, Denis and Sara

I have very fond memories of Uncle Tots growing up. He would join us on family vacations and we had fun adventures in Disney all together! Uncle Tots and Aunt Christina always sent beautiful and generous sentiments for special occasions and I would enjoy writing back to share about my life. It was a special way to keep in touch. I am grateful for these memories and for having such a loving Uncle and Aunt. May they watch over Godmother Klaudia and our family, happily together.
Love always, Alexandra

We wish we could have been there to help you through such a difficult time.
Your strength and dedication to both your Mom and Dad throughout their illnesses is so admirable.
We didn't know your Dad but no doubt he rests in peace knowing he raised such a loyal, beautiful and loving daughter.

What a terrible year this has been for our family! Earlier this year, we dealt with the sudden and totally unexpected death of Christina. Then only a few weeks later, we learned the devastating news that Totts had developed sarcoma. How could two such awful events hit one family in such a short span of time? Worse still, why should Klaudia lose both parents just within a few short months? I don’t have an answer. I only have hope that there is a reason. Perhaps this happened because Totts belongs with Christina and they both now share a joyful and peaceful existence together, far better than anything we can envision. Memories of our time together is what we can cherish now.
My best memories are of the joyful times when Totts, Bo, (my husband and his brother), our daughter, Alexandra and I spent together vacationing in Disneyworld. We had such fun, enjoying the sites, carefree, absorbed in the Disney spirit. Totts, the ever-vigilant videographer recorded every moment for us all to remember and relive. Those were happy times and those are the moments I go back to now, when I think of Totts. He lives in my memories and there he will remain.

My brother Taras, or Totts as he liked to be called, and I lived out our teen years near Charlottesville, Virginia where we attended a nearby military academy, Fork Union Military Academy, from middle school through high school. During these years, Totts excelled in basketball and football. After high school graduation, he joined the Army and did service in Korea and Japan. Upon his honorable discharge, he met and fell in love with Christina. They married and had a daughter, their only child, Klaudia. Totts, Christina and Klaudia were a happy and loving family enjoying their life together, living first in Queens, where Totts got a great job with the City of New York in the Sanitation Dept. He worked about twenty years before taking early retirement and disability after hurting his back. At that point he moved to Port Richey, Florida with his family which he made his home until his death. His family was the center of his life. But in addition, he enjoyed tinkering with computers and more recently competing in and hosting video games. Totts pulled me into his avocation and over the years we spent many enjoyable hours playing together as a team against competitors. Our participation in the gaming activities allowed us the opportunity to interact on a personal level despite our huge geographic separation as we enjoyed long conversations on the phone. I miss those days. I miss him very much. But I know he is in a better and happier place now, which he can share with Christina.

RIP Taras. You were my only brother-in-law and it was my luck to have you as such.
You were the most perfect match for my sister and I thank you for all the years you
supported and cared for her. I also will never forget the years you comforted my
mother while Chris tended to her in your living room.
"Blessed are they who comfort the sick"
Rest in peace Taras
