My grandfather was the best man I’ve ever met , anyone who has met him knows how wonderful of a man he was . He was calm , understanding , and loving . His advice was the best , his ambition was amazing , and his relationship with his family is something he always thought to be very important to him . If you could think of the perfect man my papa was that . Everyday your thought of . We miss you and we love you .

In the 27 years I knew my papa he was the kindest, most thoughtful, loving, and spiritual man I ever had the pleasure of knowing. He loved his family, friends, and church in a way that is inspiring for anyone. He definitely played an influential role in my life as a father figure and the perfect example of what a husband should be, and I can’t ever think of a moment where I won’t miss him. I love you pop and I think of you everyday. Thank you for being an amazing man.

Frederick you were a blessing from God. You were the most caring, loving man, husband, father, and son. You touched everyone's heart. You were a strong tough gentle man with a heart of Gold. I am lost without you. Our rides everynight, our talks, our playing cards, and Tuck, Mexican Train, we were so competitive. Your love for God. I was so blessed that God answered my pray to find me a good husband and father for our children. You were the greatest and will continue to be the greatest man in our family's life. You were a great teacher for the kids and our grand kids, our great grand kids won't know what a great papa you would have been. You showed the kid's that the strength of mind over power's the physical strength by going to work every day enduring so much pain. You showed the kid's the love of a dad. Miss you my love, my man my husband, more and more each day. I am blessed to be able to say I have great memories of our 42 and 5 months being married. I will see you again, my love, my husband, my gentle soft hearted giant. I LOVE YOU.

Ri, we've known each other since junior high. You've been one of my most beloved friends through the years. I remember when I first met Fred, his warm & friendly smile is etched in my memory forever. What a nice man. I still remember that smiling face when you were both here last. He never showed his pain. My heart aches so much for you Ri my friend, I wish I could be there to comfort you. Just know that Fred is at peace & without pain and smiling down on you & all those who knew him, loved him & will miss him.

Ri, The day you and Rick/Fred walked into my office was a blessed day for my husband and I. You were the sweetest couple I had ever met. You both quickly became more family than friends. Fred has always amazed us. We are sure he was in pain every day but you would never know. He was always a joy to be around. We have never known a TOUGHER, kinder more generous person. It was obvious from the beginning he adored you just as you adored him. I'm sure when God called him home heaven was so happy to have him. He was so very special just as you are. I also believe he is watching over you. Although nothing can ever fill the void he left in your life, we hope you can find some peace knowing he is out of pain. We can't express how much we will miss him. We are here for you! We love you! Harvey & Mary Lou

Ri, I’m so sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. I remember how I met you two on line and then you came to Albany and we met up. We had a great time the three of us.
We became best friends the three of us. I know how much you two cared for each other. I know you will miss the love of your life.

I remember the day I met Freddy, it was Feb. 11th 2002 when I went to work for him at GE. From day one I knew he and I would become life long friends. He was a kind, considerate and most of all honest man with a heart of gold. Not only did he teach me everything he could, he brought me into his life as if I were family. He and Marie were like my adoptive parents though he was only 11 years older than I. Freddy will be missed dearly. He was a great man and a greater friend. This world is a sadder place today without him. I will see you in Heaven Freddy.

To our special guy Bro. Fred you were a role model to many and your big bear heart abound with love. You shared so much wisdom like how to keep up with the pool. You were a hero saving Ceci and I when my car had a flat tire on a hot summer day. Moving all the groceries from my car to yours and dropping us off at home because it was too hot for us to wait for the flat tire to be repaired. Picking up Ceci from Holy Spirit while I ran with my mom to her doctor’s appointment. Always having room at your table to share food. Plus picking on Sis. Marie just to get her going so we could all have a laugh. When you smiled and laugh everyone around you smiled, and just for a few minutes the pain on your body would fade away from your face. Strong and tall you stood helping everyone on your way, in spite of the hip, knee or pain. You helped us decorate the church and carried and moved heavy things around in spite of your fingers going numb. Just to make sure the church looked nice for whatever event we were having. I will miss all of those things about you, but I will relish the memories of seeing you in service praising God and praying forever you will be in our heart and mind. We love you friend!

We were just getting close to you both again, and the Lord had other plans. We know that he is not suffering anymore, but it is still hard to lose a love one. If you need anything any of you, you know how to find us.
