Obituary of Janet L Gardner

Janet L. “Jane” Gardner, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones, on December 12, 2019, in Connerton, Florida. She was born to James and Louise Murphy in Queens, NY, and was the youngest of three children. 

Jane is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charlie, sister Carole, children Pam, Jim, Chris and Andy, grandchildren Rebecca, Thomas, Kevin, Reese and Gavin, niece Susan, nephew Michael and daughter-in-law Toby. 

Jane didn’t hold advanced degrees, or have an accomplished career. She was too busy being the center of the universe for a family that adored her. 

Jane was a beautiful, compassionate, gutsy, funny and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt whose infectious laugh made everyone around her smile. 

She will be missed deeply but remembered lovingly by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Services will be held at the Prevatt Funeral Home, 7709 State Road 52 in Hudson, Florida on Sunday December 15, 2019 at 4 p.m.
